I have had this thought in my mind for a while now about how different cloths that we have are a landmark on the field of our personality.
The cloths we used to wear when coming in contact with different people or experiences, creating new memories. Cloths that remind you of a city, of a person, of a place , an entire rainbow of collective memories.
A t-shirt may have the impact of creating instant happiness by default, just wearing it, because it can create a connection between you and a happy memory.
What it is about cloths that seer the details of a memory in our heads?
Is it the material they are made of that make you feel comfortable ? The design that boosts your confidence or the particular smell that is comes with..
Is your wardrobe your escape place? Just by taking a look inside suddenly feeling safe and comfortable among so many nice memories? Your sanctuary, your retreat and comfort, your place that fears no change, where you can add or let go of any memories as simple as they came in the first place.
This is how I see my wardrobe. Its history is finite but its future infinite. I have my triggers of happiness there, it is like a hat with many particular feelings inside, ready to surprise me, like the day I discovered a t-shirt I had from my sister on my 14th birthday. Each piece of cloth there is unique, has its own memory and is ready to be worn and ready to add more memories, like a soldier ready to take over a battle, never tired to defend its country.
My wardrobe is my place from where my deep love of my past and future come from. All my cloths are anchors, have fingerprints on them and certain feelings attached , forming a story line ready to be shared.
So I look forward to my next acquisition for my wardrobe, to add it in the perfect spare place and wait for the right moment to create another memory.
