Many people don’t know that the human eye has a blind spot in its field of vision. There’s a part of the world we are literally blind to. The problem is sometimes our blind spot shields us from the things that really shouldn’t be ignored. Sometimes our blind spots keep our life bright and shiny.
And we make mistakes that are painful but they’re the only way to find out who we really are. We are left with a choice , either let the guilt throw us back into the behavior that got us there in the first place or learn from the guilt and do our best to move on. E said in one of her shows that when you pass through a dark side of your life, that is when you do your soul searching. When you leave the trials that life gives you, it is an opportunity to find out who you are not just when everything is great but who you are when everything is taken away from you, that’s when you have nothing.
We all felt like this at one point in our lives and I am sure it was a deep learning point and all the guilt, all the mistakes became lessons that were hard learned. I believe that life is not about others approving who you are or what you say, it’s about if you believe in it and if you are truly honest. We all want people to like us and approve us, we grow up with these fears in the back of our head somewhere but being natural never hurts, try it.
Sometimes I look at the people in my life and I can say what’s wrong with them, but not all the time. Sometimes I can’t say that by just looking at them. After all, they can look perfect from the outside while their insides tell a different story. People have scars in all sorts of unexpected places like secret road maps of their personal histories diagrams of all their old wounds. Most of our old wounds heal, leaving nothing behind, but a scar. But some of them don’t.. What’s worst, new wounds which are horribly painful or old wounds that should’ve healed years back and never did ? Maybe our old wounds teach us something. They remind us where we’ve been and what we’ve overcome. They teach us lessons about what to avoid in the future. That’s what we like to think , but that’s not the way it is, is it? Some things we just have to learn over and over and over again..
Feelers always have a plan, where to give cut, where to bring together, where to stich. But even with the best plans, complications can arise, things can go wrong... And suddenly you are caught with your pants down... Messed up, but that’s the feeling that makes a person, it’s how we learn, where we find joy, in the things we don’t plan for, the things we don’t see coming. The thing about plans is they don’t take into account the unexpected. So when we’re thrown a curveball, whether it’s in career or life, we have to improvise. Of course some of us are better at it than others. Some of us just have to move on to plan B and make the best of it. And sometimes, what we want is exactly what we need. But sometimes what we need is a new plan.
Some people believe that without history our lives amount to nothing. At some point we all have to choose. Do we fall back on what we know or do we step forward to something new? It’s hard not to be haunted by our past. Our history is what shapes us, what guides us… So my advice for you is have a little faith today, every day and share a little bit of love today…everyday....
Kind regards,
Nico
