India through my eyes

Before coming to India my perception was that it is a country of contrast. This is also the best word to describe how the image of India was in my mind. I imagined the poor and the rich living under the same sky, sometimes at only few meters away and this was exactly what I found here.

There is a BUT , a very important one : these 2 different worlds , poor and rich , have more in common than I could ever imagine and it's not the fact that both are under the same sky, is the fact that both worlds are driven by the same desire to grow. Not an individualist desire , but a common one  and this is one of the things that makes me wanna love India. It is said that the biggest asset a country can have are the people in it and it's true. Here in India , the contrast becomes simplicity and simplicity becomes a combination of love + humanity+ unity , and it is so strong that if you really open your eyes and look , you can see it so clearly and is so amazing.

Tonight , people from 28 countries shared opinions about the real India, what/when/where is their real India and it was amazing moment ( Thank you Dipika Prasad for starting this conversation , you are an image of branding + passion=  your India ). There are not so many people in this world that are united and fight from the smallest member of the family to the eldest , to change something not in his/her life but for all the people  in that community/country.

This is something that makes my day in India. It is not a mentality , it comes from the heart and is so pure and intense that just makes me cry. Another thing I see here in India , is that even if there are 2 different worlds , they are together and not one against the other one , each of these 2 worlds have more love , joy and happiness, all together that I have not seen till now in my life.

This is what makes my India incredible and this is what I will take back home with me and I will try to cherish my experience here with all my heart, my simplicity and my honesty.

I believe that " ONE India ", the power of one  is what makes this country and the people here INCREDIBLE.

Kind regards,
                     Nico
