The 'dark nights' of the soul

Today I was reading a post on a blog about these dark nights of the soul
I've passed some dark periods also as we all have I am sure in our life so far, that's why I decided to share some things with you today, related to these times.

" Sometimes is just life's circumstances that get us down such as having an accident, getting sick, being betrayed by a friend or experiencing the loss of a loved one or a job , or eventually an unresolved relational conflict. And sometimes we have no idea why we feel so down."

Whatever the reason, the difficulties we are experiencing are wake-up calls for us, to put something right, to help us grow, or to motivate us to get into the right track in life and change the direction of it.

Personally, I have made major changes in my life or work without them having been preceded by a "dark night of the soul" period but it also happened the other way around. I have made major changes in my life or work with them being preceded by 'dark nights' periods or days. But who would want to change anything when everything is going great? That's when the "dark night" effect came in and left me open to change .
I am sure we have all experienced these ' dark nights of the soul' and my advice to you would be to take them as a time to grow, to become wiser, to become a better you. It may sound hard to do , but let yourself enter a state of flow, be happy in the now and have plans for the future. Have faith and let these moments leave you open to change, hug your monsters, live experiences with no boundaries.

Use these nights to bulletproof your mindset , create new habits of mind and simply reach a state of flow, happiness. In the end it is not about the destination, but the journey you are taking and life doesn't worth losing any more minutes, not even from these 'dark nights'.
